Bodiam Castle, situated in East Sussex, England, is the iconic medieval castle. Built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, a former knight of King Edward III. Sir Edward secured the permission to build the castle from reigning King Richard II. Ricard believed the castle’s location would help defend England during the Hundred Years’ War.
